Real Stories, Real Growth

What progress looks like

Every child's path is different. Here's a look at what families experience with the right therapist, in the right environment.

Speech-Language Therapy

Making Every Word Count
Preschooler · 8 months
Dropping consonants at the ends of words. Hard for family and teachers to understand.
Producing final consonants consistently, building structured sentences, and speaking up with confidence.

Occupational Therapy

Taming the Big Feelings
School-age · 9 months
Meltdowns from loud sounds, crowded rooms, and unpredictable situations. Confidence was shrinking.
Naming feelings, choosing strategies, trying new foods, and building friendships through cooperative play.

Physical Therapy

From Tummy Time to Running Free
Infant · 8 months (discharged)
Wasn't tolerating tummy time, not crawling, not bearing weight through legs.
Walking independently, climbing, and exploring — discharged after meeting all gross motor goals.

Your child's story could start today.

A Closer Look

One family's journey

Finding Her Voice and Her Confidence
Preschooler · Speech-Language + Occupational Therapy · 9 months (ongoing)

Where things started
When her therapist first walked through the door, she screamed, cried, and ran to hide. She had very few words, struggled to follow simple directions, and became overwhelmed by anything outside her daily routine. Her parents worried about school readiness and felt heartbroken that they couldn't understand what she wanted or needed.

What therapy looked like
Her SLP got on the floor and followed her lead — no pressure, just play. Trust came first, then structured routines. Her OT worked on motor planning, visual motor skills, and daily independence. Everything happened at home, with a parent nearby, so the strategies carried over between sessions.

Where things are now
The meltdowns at the start of sessions stopped. She uses a growing number of functional words and phrases to communicate. She follows directions, answers simple questions, and her handwriting readiness has noticeably improved.
